Medical Microneedling in Beverly Hills

Advanced Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT)

Medical microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a regenerative skin treatment designed to stimulate the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin. By creating controlled microchannels in the skin, microneedling activates a natural healing response that supports progressive skin renewal and remodeling.

At his Beverly Hills practice, Franck Joly uses advanced microneedling protocols tailored to each patient’s skin, concerns and aesthetic goals. Treatment may help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne and surgical scars, sun-damaged skin, uneven texture and tone, enlarged pores, stretch marks and loss of elasticity.

Because every patient’s skin is different, treatment depth, frequency and recommended number of sessions are determined following an individual consultation.

BENEFITS OF THE ROLLER

“Because of the potential for overtreatment and excoriation of the epidermis with the use of mechanical pens, I only use high quality sterile and disposable medical rollers which have never been associated with such risks. ”

What to Expect After Microneedling

Medical Microneedling FAQ

How soon will I see improvements?

Collagen Induction Therapy stimulates the body’s own regenerative collagen production. It takes time for this process to become visible and patients should expect to see significant improvements within three to six weeks after each treatment. The full effect will be achieved within a few months.

How many sessions are recommended?

To achieve maximum benefits from Collagen Induction Therapy, we recommend a course of three to six treatments, spaced out in a minimum of 1 to 2 week intervals. Other options include one treatment per month or 6 treatments every 6 months.

What should I expect during the treatment?

This treatment, performed under topical anesthesia, is administered via very fine needles creating tiny pin-pricks in the skin. Post-procedure, the skin appears flushed and may swell for a few days, similar to a moderate sunburn. Healing stimulates new skin cells, collagen and elastin production as part of the natural skin regenerative process.

How to prepare for this treatment?

For optimal results, a daily pre-treatment protocol is recommended. Studies have shown that using topical Environ Vitamin A and C for a minimum of 8 weeks prior to a medical needling treatment, can enhance growth and thickness of the epidermal layers by 30%.
